Blake quietly deleted the video he had recorded.
Too late.
Half the passengers had already filmed him humiliating Avery.
Sienna whispered,
"Fix this."
Blake shook his head.
"I can't."
The retired general heard them.
He looked directly at Blake.
"You thought humiliating an officer in uniform was entertaining?"
Blake couldn't answer.
The general continued.
"She spent twenty-three years protecting strangers."
"And today..."
"You couldn't even give her one peaceful flight."
Blake lowered his eyes.
Sienna finally looked at Avery.
"...Why didn't you tell us?"
Avery answered calmly.
"You never asked."
Those four words hurt more than any public argument.
Sienna remembered years of family dinners.
Every deployment.
Every birthday Avery missed.
Every sacrifice she had mocked.
And she realized...
She had never once asked what her sister actually did.

The lead Raptor gently dipped one wing.
