Chapter 4 - THE WOMAN IN GREEN

Her name was Rachel Monroe.

She resembled me closely enough to fool distant relatives and security cameras.

Alana had hired her to attend school meetings, sign medical forms, and create footage showing me as emotionally unstable.

Rachel wore an emerald gown at a family gala six months earlier.

Michael admitted seeing her.

He said he thought I had changed my hair.

That lie lasted less than a minute.

Messages showed he knew after the second meeting.

He had kissed her.

Then asked Alana whether “the calmer Clarissa” could replace me permanently.

The humiliation at dinner was designed to trigger my anger on camera.

Rachel would later appear composed, claim Dustin feared me, and support an emergency custody petition.

The camera Alana feared was not only recording her.

It was supposed to record me.

Robert’s hidden system had hijacked the feed.

Then Rachel entered the house voluntarily.

She carried another envelope.

“Robert told me to come if Clarissa threw the food.”

Alana stared.

Robert had recruited the replacement mother against her.
