Chapter 10 - LILY’S FIRST MOTHER

DNA confirmed Sarah was not Lily’s biological mother.

She gave birth to Leo.

Lily entered her care at six months through an emergency placement Michael arranged.

Sarah believed the child’s mother died.

The biological mother was Caroline Reed, Daniel’s sister.

Caroline tried to expose North Line.

Mercer declared her unstable and transferred Lily to Sarah, where Michael could monitor both women.

Caroline was alive inside a long-term facility in Ohio.

She had spent seven years saying her daughter survived.

Lily’s reunion was slow.

No forced embrace.

Caroline said, “My name is Caroline.”

Lily answered, “Sarah is my mom.”

Caroline nodded.

“She raised you.”

Biology did not erase attachment.

Sarah did not compete.

The adults finally allowed a child to hold more than one truth.

Then Caroline revealed Leo was also part of the plan.

North Line paired children from different bloodlines inside targeted homes.

If one identity collapsed, the other child created legal leverage.

Lily and Leo were siblings by life, not biology.

That remained real.

Michael’s legal files named Leo as the future controller of a trust holding North Line properties.

A two-year-old had been used to hide millions.

The court froze the assets and created an independent victim fund.

Then Michael contacted me directly.

He said he would surrender if I brought Lily’s original prescription.

Why that paper?

Because the handwritten pharmacy code was not only a prescription number.

It was a key to North Line’s final archive.
