Chapter 14 - THE MEMORIAL HALL

The stage floor opened into an older command bunker.

Inside sat Nathan Hale.

Older.

Ill.

Still wearing Marcus's face.

He surrendered without resistance.

He said VALOR had moved beyond him.

He had returned to reveal the final archive.

The bunker contained the original HONOR LINE child records.

My file began before birth.

Richard and Eleanor were selected as parents.

Jason assigned as favored sibling.

I assigned as pressured subject.

My military aptitude predicted.

Ghazni planned as final validation.

Even Nathan believed he directed the program.

The documents showed someone above him had guided every step.

Director: Margaret Walker.

My paternal grandmother.

Officially dead when I was nine.

She founded Walker Global's behavioral division.

Richard inherited the company but not full control.

Margaret had staged her death and continued managing HONOR LINE through trusts.

Then a live feed appeared.

An elderly woman sat inside the original Walker family dining room.

Margaret.

Alive.

Beside her rested the classified Ghazni folder.

She said:

“Emma, your father called you a tool because that was the only truth he ever understood.”

I answered, “And you built the toolbox.”

She smiled.

“Come home.”

I refused.

Federal teams traced the signal.

It came from Fort Liberty itself.

The ceremony hall.

Where we already stood.

The audience seats began locking.

VALOR had brought us back to the first scene.
