My fertility clinic records had been altered.
I believed Meadow was conceived naturally during my marriage.
Medical records showed I underwent hormone injections and an embryo transfer during a hospital procedure Daniel described as treatment for an ovarian cyst.
I remembered sedation.
Not consent.
The embryo had been created from my egg and stored genetic material from Michael.

The clinic claimed the source code had been misread.
Sofia proved the code was deliberate.
The Parker continuity company designed a child who would inherit from both Harper and Parker structures while remaining legally under Daniel’s control.
Meadow’s existence had been engineered around property.
I nearly broke when I learned.

“Are you still my mom?”
“Yes.”
Nothing about the answer required a laboratory.
Lily’s mother Anna was found alive in a private care facility.
She had spent years declared unstable after refusing to sign away Lily.
Her reunion with Lily happened slowly.
No forced embrace.
Lily called Judith Grandma despite everything.
Attachment did not disappear because truth arrived.
