Chapter 6 - THE OTHER NATSU

The second dog was named Rex.

A younger German Shepherd altered with a matching scar pattern and fitted with a duplicate red collar.

He had appeared in official training footage under Natsu’s identity.

Whenever the program needed to prove Natsu had become aggressive, Rex was used.

False bite reports.

Failed obedience tests.

An attack on a prisoner.

All attributed to my dog.

The evidence justified a termination order.

Rex was not guilty.

He had been trained through fear.

Natsu approached him through a fence.

Neither barked.

Rex lowered his body.

Natsu sat.

The older dog did not dominate him.

He waited.

For the first time, Rex relaxed.

The program expected animals to fight for identity.

They refused.

Then Hale’s archive revealed a similar human continuity system.

Missing soldiers replaced by trained doubles in records and videos.

Daniel had one.

A man named Nathan Cole had signed Daniel’s confessions and appeared in remote briefings.

The real Daniel’s legal identity had been gradually transferred.

Then Nathan escaped Fort Sentinel during the raid.
