Sarah was found under another identity at a protected military hospital.
She had survived the crash.
Brooks placed her into Safe Harbor after she threatened to expose him.
She spent two years declared dead.
Why did Michael not know?
Safe Harbor split them into separate compartments.
Each believed the other compromised.
The family reunion did not happen in one room.
Sarah saw the twins through glass.
Lily said, “You didn’t come back.”
Sarah answered, “I couldn’t.”
Owen asked, “Did you try?”
“Yes.”
Evidence supported her.
That mattered.
Still, two years remained missing from childhood.
Then Sarah revealed Michael had once supported Safe Harbor.
He believed it saved covert families.
He withdrew only after seeing children reassigned permanently.
Again, no clean adult.
The twins were surrounded by people who resisted only after participating.
Then Ashbourne contacted Sarah.
She offered freedom from prosecution if Sarah brought the twins to O’Hare.
Sarah refused.
Ashbourne released a forged video showing Sarah agreeing.
Public confusion spread.
Court evidence relied on original metadata.
Then Flight 261’s black-box data revealed an unauthorized passenger inside the cockpit jump seat.
