Chapter 6 - DR. VALE

Dr. Vale denied entering the operating room.
His alibi placed him at another hospital.
Security footage confirmed it.
But the gold ring belonged to his identical twin brother, Victor Vale.
Officially dead at birth.
Raised privately by Whitaker Biomedical as a surgical substitute.
Victor could enter hospitals under Thomas’s identity and disappear behind the public doctor’s license.
Thomas knew about him.
He claimed he never approved the surgeries.
His emails showed years of silence.
Again, fear without action.
Dr. Evans returned through federal emergency authority after Detective Hayes proved the hospital suspension came from Whitaker influence.
He confronted Thomas at my bedside.
Thomas surrendered his devices and revealed Victor’s likely location.
A private clinic beneath Richard’s lake estate.
Federal agents raided it.
Victor escaped.
They found operating rooms, donor records, and recovery suites designed to resemble luxury guest rooms.
Patients believed they were attending wellness retreats.
Then investigators found Michael chained inside a locked office.
He had been imprisoned after sabotaging my surgery.
The man on the recording was Victor wearing Michael’s face.
But the warning was real.
Michael had recorded the message earlier.
Victor used it without understanding that it would expose the second-kidney plan.
Michael provided the original organ schedule.
Richard intended to harvest Maya’s native kidney after my transplant stabilized her.
Daniel would receive it.
Then my remaining kidney would be damaged deliberately, making me dependent on Whitaker Health.
Three siblings.
One chain.
Michael said he had spent years trying to stop the program quietly.
I asked why he never warned me.
“Richard watched you.”
“He watched all of us.”
“I thought evidence would free everyone.”
“Evidence arrived after they cut me open.”
He accepted the truth.
Then Maya’s new kidney began failing.
Not from rejection.
A chemical had been placed in her IV.

Someone inside the hospital was still executing the plan.
