Crystal champagne glasses shattered softly nearby the grass.
"No... this is a mistake! My lawyer!"
"Your lawyer Arthur Vance was arrested earlier."
Agent Vance snapped handcuffs onto his wrists.
The cold steel clicked tightly around suit cuffs.
Evelyn rushed forward, trying to strike federal agent.
"Take your hands off my son, thugs!"
A second marshal stepped in, blocking her path.
"Interfering with federal arrest is a felony, ma'am."
Evelyn screamed hysterically, collapsing onto muddy lawn.
Her expensive blue floral dress stained completely.
The mighty matriarch was broken and powerless.
Agent Vance handed me a thick manila folder.
"All corporate assets transferred successfully, Laura."
"Your personal accounts show forty million dollars."
I accepted the folder, sliding into handbag.
"Thank you, Agent Vance. Excellent work."
The marshals escorted a weeping Spencer away.
His ivory suit was ruined by dirt.
