His name was Daniel Whitmore.
Born four years before Vanessa.
Declared dead at six months.
In reality, Operation Apron transferred him into a military family in Virginia.
The Whitmores were told the child had a congenital condition.
No body returned.
Daniel became a decorated Army officer.
Then disappeared during a classified deployment.
Nathan claimed Daniel was alive and held by the same network.
My father helped conceal Alexander because he thought the false general could recover his son.
He chose one child over the safety of another.

Records showed Daniel had been used as the program’s original “achievement subject.”
I became the second.
Vanessa and Logan served as emotional controls.
Our family was not merely observed.
It was structured.
Then one sealed file identified General Hayes as Daniel’s commanding officer.
Alexander had signed the mission order under which my brother disappeared.
He never told me.
He said he did not know Daniel was related to me.
The mission was classified.
Another truth delayed by authority.
Then Nathan offered Daniel’s current location in exchange for immunity.
Denied.
He gave it anyway.
An abandoned defense facility in Pennsylvania.
Federal teams entered.
