"I don't want your money."
Silence.
"I don't want your excuses."
More silence.
"I wanted to know whether any of you would tell the truth."
None of them did.
Not one.
That answer hurt more than prison ever had.
I picked up my suitcase.
Michael's investigators would handle everything else.
The recording.
The documents.
The legal process.
I didn't need another argument.
