Claire said:

Daniel restored corrupted service records.

Independent boards reviewed every case.

No single database determined identity.

Then Tyler faced court-martial.

His attorney argued he was following orders.

Video showed enjoyment.

The kick.

The insults.

The pressure against my chest.

He had not merely obeyed.

He had embraced the role.

Nguyen testified.

Blake testified.

I testified last.

Tyler looked at me and said:

“You really think you’re better than us because you didn’t shoot?”

“No.”

“Then what makes you different?”

“I checked the round.”
