Chapter 7 - ELEANOR’S SISTER

Eleanor had an identical twin named Margaret.
Declared dead during infancy.
Raised privately by their wealthy father to serve as a signature substitute.
Margaret signed estate papers, medical consents, and trust amendments whenever Eleanor needed plausible denial.
The woman who drugged Juny at the restaurant might have been Margaret.
The mother who raised me might still be responsible for planning everything.
Identity did not erase conspiracy.
Police found Margaret in a nearby cabin.
She claimed Eleanor controlled her through money and threats.
She also admitted visiting Juny alone.
Sometimes she acted kinder than Eleanor.
Juny thought Grandma’s moods changed suddenly.
There had been two grandmothers.
One cold.
One apologetic.
Both kept the secret.
Margaret said she locked Laura in the basement to protect her from Eleanor.
Laura called it kidnapping.
Protection without consent remained control.
Then Margaret revealed the trust amendment had another hidden beneficiary.
A child named June Harper.
Born fourteen years earlier.
Same birthday as Juny.
Different spelling.
A second girl existed in the records.
Was Juny the legal beneficiary?
May you like
