The leak came from Silvio’s chief financial administrator, Peter Vaughn.
Peter had worked for the Romano companies for fourteen years.
He attended Silvio’s wedding.
He visited the hospital after Mia was born.
Silvio trusted him with information worth hundreds of millions.
Peter insisted he had never knowingly helped Lucinda harm the children.
That part appeared true.

Grant entered a plea agreement covering conspiracy, fraud-related conduct, unauthorized security interference, and child-endangerment charges.
He agreed to testify truthfully.
Lucinda refused every early offer.
She still believed she could convince a jury that Grant manipulated her.
Then prosecutors recovered one final document from her cloud storage.
A draft letter.
It was meant to be sent after the SUV incident.
It described Lucinda’s shock at discovering the children abandoned in Silvio’s vehicle.
The letter had been written three days before Ethan and Mia were locked inside.
