Reed wasn’t the attack.

The officer confirmed what I already suspected.

I knew how to stay hidden.
The officer looked at me.
“You have enemies.”
I smiled slightly.
“Everyone does.”
“Not like this.”

The sender knew where I would be.
The officer looked serious.
“We need to know who sent that.”
I looked back toward the mess hall.
