Leonard Shaw faced attempted murder, illegal human experimentation, conspiracy, evidence destruction, and kidnapping-related charges.
Cassandra faced many of the same counts.
Robert Sherman faced conspiracy, fraud, obstruction, and unlawful research funding.
The courtroom filled with reporters.
Naomi testified about Trial 6 and Toby’s treatment.
Leonard’s attorney attacked her history with Elijah.
“You were once engaged to the company’s founder?”
“Yes.”
“And he abandoned you for Cassandra?”
“Yes.”
“Do you resent them?”
Naomi looked at the jury.
“Resentment does not create toxicology results.”
She explained the drug’s effects clearly.
She described the puncture mark, the second compound, and the delayed emergency call.
The defense could not turn science into jealousy.
Elijah testified next.
He admitted saying “at any cost.”
He admitted ignoring warnings.
He admitted protecting the company after Trial 6.
The prosecutor asked why he was speaking against his own family.
“Because silence nearly killed my son.”
Robert stared at him with hatred.
Cassandra cried during Toby’s recorded statement.
Toby did not appear in court.
In the video, he said:
“Mommy told me the shot would make Daddy proud. I did not want the shot.”
The courtroom fell silent.
Cassandra covered her face.
Leonard showed no emotion.
Then prosecutors presented his private journal.
