The court ordered the Parker home sold.
Margaret’s club memberships, investment accounts and luxury vehicles were liquidated.
Daniel’s properties were seized.
Melissa surrendered the contents of hidden accounts.
Combined with recovered funds and insurance settlements, the victims received most of their losses back.
Claire recovered the money intended for her house.
Rosa received compensation and legal protection for cooperating.
Her sister’s immigration application was reviewed without interference.
Ava’s wedding funds were restored.
The fraudulent line of credit opened in connection with her unborn child was canceled, and every related record was formally corrected.
Ethan, Margaret, Daniel and Melissa each received prison sentences proportionate to their roles.
None could contact Ava.
None could profit from the story.
None could pretend it had been a misunderstanding.
Three months later, Ava gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
She named her Grace.

On Grace’s first birthday, Ava moved into a small sunlit home with cream walls and dark wood floors.
For a moment, the similarity to Margaret’s house unsettled her.
