Ryan was convicted of conspiracy, wire fraud, identity theft, attempted theft of trust assets, falsifying medical records, and obstruction.
Patricia was convicted of conspiracy, assault, forgery, attempted financial theft, witness tampering, burglary, and destruction of evidence.
The judge described the restaurant attack as “a calculated act of public degradation designed to support a larger financial crime.”
Ryan received a lengthy federal sentence.
Patricia received a separate prison term that ensured she would be an old woman before becoming eligible for release.
Dr. Kessler lost his medical license and served time.
