Diane produced an audio recording.
Ryan saying:
Emma scares Lily.
At first, it looked devastating.
Then we heard the full conversation.
Diane:
Say it.
Ryan:
No.
Diane:
Say Emma scares Lily.
Ryan:
Emma scares Lily when she yells sometimes. So do I. So do you. That doesn’t mean she’s abusive.
Diane’s version cut after the first sentence.
Again.
Half-truth.
But this time the source file existed on Ryan’s phone.

Editing was obvious.
Diane’s credibility took another hit.

That grounded me.

Maybe.
But it existed.
Ryan admitted attending.
Diane had explained she wanted “leverage” to pressure me into restructuring the trust and using house equity to rescue Parker Family Ventures.
Ryan said he refused the house part.
Then stayed involved with the documentation.
That was the central truth.
He knew money was involved before the abuse escalated.
