Melissa continued examining Claire's trust records.
Then she found something strange.
Vivienne Cross appeared in an old email.

Grant stared.
“That isn't possible.”
Claire had known Vivienne?
The email was addressed to Melissa.

Please confirm Vivienne Cross has no possible access to Noah's future trust.
Grant felt cold.
He read it again.
Melissa looked stunned.
“I don't remember this.”
The email had been archived under a closed philanthropic matter.
Claire and Vivienne had served on the same charity committee.

Grant sat down.

Grant smiled through tears.
“That sounds like Claire.”
Melissa nodded.
“She built strong protections.”
Meaning Vivienne's plan had a fatal flaw.
Even if she damaged Grant's custody position, she could not automatically gain financial control.

Grant whispered:
