The backup page appeared in a filing submitted electronically at 9:41 P.M. on the wedding night.
Madison’s signature was on it.
She had been inside Nora’s apartment by then.
The document claimed Madison had voluntarily approved preliminary transfer authority.
Rebecca enlarged the signature.
It looked convincing.
Daniel noticed the problem.
Madison always signed her middle initial with a small loop.
The electronic document used a straight line.
Elise examined the metadata.
The file had been created on Gloria’s laptop three weeks earlier.
A scanned version of Madison’s signature had been copied from a catering agreement.
Ryan intended to replace the forged page with a real signature after coercing her.
