Chapter 8 - ARTHUR’S BIOLOGICAL CHILD

Independent testing showed Rachel was Arthur’s biological daughter.

Rose and Arthur had conceived once before doctors discovered his hereditary infertility condition.

Lucy and April came through other paths.

Arthur used biology as permission to keep Rachel and abandon the other two.

Rachel heard the result.

“I don’t want him.”

The court protected her choice.

Arthur contacted her tablet remotely and said, “I’m the only parent who never left.”

Rachel answered, “You left us at Mom’s grave.”

His face changed.

Children remember actions better than speeches.

Police traced Arthur to the Bennett lake house. He escaped before they arrived, but Vanessa was found tied to a chair.

She revealed his final plan.

At Lucy’s thirteenth birthday, all surviving triplets had to appear. If Rose’s identity remained uncertain, the trust could be declared fraudulent and revert to the spouse.
