I unlocked the encrypted satellite phone screen fast.
I tapped a single speed dial key with thumb.
The secure line connected on the first ring.
Adrian smirked arrogance with his arms folded tight.
He thought I was calling a cheap local taxi.
"Dad... come get me," I spoke clearly.
"Bring the lawyers and full security team right now."
On the phone speaker, a powerful voice answered:
"I am five minutes away, my sweet daughter."
"Hold on, daddy is coming for you now."
Adrian's smirk flickered slightly at the loud voice.
"Who are you trying to scare, Claire?" Adrian mocked.
"Your deadbeat father left you years ago!"
