The door of the lead SUV opened slowly.
A tall man stepped out onto wet pavement.
He wore an immaculate, expensive black tailored suit.
His silver hair was styled neatly despite the storm.

He held a large black umbrella in hand.
He walked straight toward me on the marble steps.
He held the umbrella over my soaked head gently.
"Are you hurt, my sweet Claire?" he asked.
"I am fine, Dad," I replied softly today.

His sharp eyes turned into cold, lethal steel.
