She remembered being moved between homes and told never to use the Carter name.

The ring belonged to her mother.

DNA confirmed she was the biological Evelyn Carter.

I was Margaret Hale living under her identity.

Mary did not demand my house.

She did not demand my children.

She asked for her history.

That simple request exposed how distorted the family had become.

One rightful woman.

One life erased.

We refused.

Mary reclaimed her birth name as Evelyn Mary Carter.

The trust’s scarcity rule began to collapse.

He had visited her nursing home for years.

He told her I had stolen her life.

He promised to restore her if she signed documents.

She refused.

He needed me removed so he could use Mary as a public claimant.

When she resisted, he prepared Helen.

Three women.

One role.

All manipulated.

Then Marcus’s trial began.
