The mansion doors remained locked.
The person outside didn’t announce themselves.
They didn’t need to.
Vanessa knew.
Her face changed.
“Impossible.”
I watched her.
“You know who that is.”
She didn’t answer.
Then my brother appeared on the security monitor.
But he wasn’t alone.
