Chapter 15 - The Recording That Was Never Supposed To Exist
The room went dark.
For several seconds, nobody moved.
Then emergency lights came on.
A stranger stood near the doorway holding a small drive.
Richard saw it.
And all the confidence left his face.
“Where did you get that?” he asked.
The stranger didn’t answer.
He walked straight toward Principal Harris and placed the drive on the table.
“I think everyone deserves to hear what happened that night.”
Richard stepped forward.
“Don’t.”
That one word changed the entire room.
Because Richard Sterling was not afraid of accusations.
He was not afraid of rumors.
He was afraid of that recording.
Principal Harris connected the drive.
The screen flickered.
A video file appeared.
The timestamp was from the night before Lily was attacked.
The camera angle showed a private meeting.

Another person.
And a conversation that made my entire body go cold.
