Her office claimed she was traveling.
Her landlord said she moved out overnight.

She carried a laptop containing listing agreements for my apartment.
One version showed Thomas as owner.
Another listed him and me jointly.
A third included a forged divorce settlement transferring the property to him.
Elise had prepared multiple paths.
She also held passwords to the cryptocurrency accounts.
In exchange for a reduced sentence, she surrendered access.
Most of the investor money remained.
Thomas had delayed moving it because he wanted funds from my apartment and business holdings first.
His greed saved part of what he stole.
The government recovered nearly seventy percent of investor losses.
Marta’s money was included.
