A loud muffled explosion rocked the helmet camera feed.
Black smoke billowed out from the shattered brass lock.
The heavy steel vault door hissed as pressure released.
It swung open slowly into the brightly lit basement bunker.
Marshals rushed inside with weapons raised in low ready.
"Don't move! Keep your hands where we can see!"
Inside the high-tech bunker stood billionaire Arthur Whitmore.
He wore an expensive silk suit, looking gray and old.
He stood beside a burning metal trash can in middle.
He was frantically throwing paper documents into the fire.
Thick black smoke filled the air of the bunker.
"Step away from the fire now!" the team leader shouted.
A marshal tackled Arthur to the polished marble floor hard.
They dragged him away from the burning document paper pile.
Another officer sprayed a fire extinguisher onto the flames.
White chemical foam covered the burning papers, saving half.
Arthur Whitmore screamed in rage as steel cuffed his wrists.
"You have no idea what you are doing!" Arthur roared.
"You are destroying the financial stability of this country!"
The team leader picked up a partially burned folder.
The paper inside was stamped with foreign intelligence marks.
It contained bank transfer receipts total fifty million dollars.
Payments made to foreign accounts for military weapon designs.
The team leader held the folder up to camera lens.
"We secured the physical evidence, Commander Logan," he reported.
"The paper trail links straight to foreign weapons buyers."
I breathed a long sigh of relief in front seat.
The three-year investigation was finally coming to a close.
The traitor who caused the death of my soldiers was caught.
Arthur Whitmore was pushed out his mansion in handcuffs.
News helicopters hovered overhead, broadcasting his downfall live nationwide.
The Whitmore family empire was completely destroyed in one afternoon.
