Some lacked context.
One photograph identified a living foster child publicly, exposing her location to an abusive relative.
Thomas called that collateral truth.
The child had to be moved.
His exposure helped cases while endangering people.
Samuel Vale released his own statement from hiding.
He claimed the program began as legitimate treatment and was corrupted by employees like Thomas.
He presented consent forms.
Many carried real signatures obtained through sedation, threats, or deception.
The public divided.
Some called Vale a medical pioneer.
Others called Thomas a hero.
Daniel watched from his room.
“Which one is good?”
I answered, “Neither one gets to decide everything alone.”
The federal case depended on original records.
Emily Cole used eye tracking to reveal the master archive location.
Beneath the old water-treatment plant was a sealed laboratory.
Agents entered.
They found original trial videos.
Patient Zero.
Emily as a six-year-old.
Vale attaching the first stimulation device.
David signing consent while crying.
The treatment restored movement briefly.
Then Emily suffered seizures.
Vale continued increasing the voltage.
David asked him to stop.
Vale threatened to end care completely.
David surrendered authority.
The recordings proved coercion.
They also showed a young Dr. Charles Hayes providing police protection.
Lena Hayes’s father blocked state investigators and returned escaped families.
The network survived because medicine, law enforcement, and private guardianship supported one another.
Lena testified against her father’s legacy publicly.
Then the archive showed Thomas as a child after recapture.
Samuel Vale sat beside him.
“Clara chose the hospital over you.”
Thomas cried.
Vale trained his hatred through repeated lies.
Clara watched the video and broke down.
She asked to speak with Thomas live.
He agreed.
She said, “I helped you escape. Then I believed you died. I should have searched longer.”
Thomas asked why she did not.
“I was afraid.”
He smiled coldly.
“So was I.”
She did not ask forgiveness.
The conversation ended.
Minutes later, Thomas sent Daniel a private message.
MISS RED TOLD THE TRUTH.
NOW ASK DR. SARAH WHY SHE SIGNED YOUR FIRST CAST ORDER.
I had never treated Daniel before this emergency.
