Chapter 11 - THE SECOND GARAGE

Continuity Partners built a replica of our family garage inside a warehouse.
Same pickup.
Same tool shelf.
Same fluorescent lights.
Same concrete stains.
They planned to film Rachel reenacting my assault.
If two “Rebecca Millers” appeared in matching footage, Richard’s defense could claim the original video was staged.
Rachel was not only hostage.
She was evidence contamination.
Federal agents traced the location through the hum frequency of the lights in the ransom audio.
They entered before filming began.
Rachel was rescued.
The duplicate garage remained.
Inside were scripts.
RICHARD PUNCHES REBECCA.
LINDA FREEZES.
PHONE FALLS.
UPLOAD FAILS.
KNOCKS INTERRUPT.
Every movement predicted—except my upload succeeded.
The script expected failure.
My trembling finger changed the case.
Then technicians found multiple scene templates.
Kitchen confrontation.
Hospital breakdown.
Courtroom collapse.
Families purchased emotional events designed to create legal outcomes.
The garage was one product.
The network’s director was Eleanor Ashbourne.
International investor.
Philanthropist.
Owner of the private residence where Rachel, Claire, and Laura had lived.
She denied criminal knowledge.
Internal files called us “family assets.”
International warrants followed.
Then Linda received a package.
Inside was the brass key from Grandma’s chest.
We still had the original in evidence.
This was a duplicate.
The note said:
YOU OPENED THE FIRST COMPARTMENT.
THE SECOND IS UNDER THE GARAGE.
Police had already broken the floor.
They searched deeper.
