Chapter 6 - The Witness Nobody Expected

The man walked slowly toward the judge.
No panic.
No hesitation.
He carried himself like someone who knew exactly why he was there.
The wealthy fathers looked uncomfortable.
One whispered:
“This isn’t happening.”
I heard him.
So did the judge.
The witness placed the folder down.
“I was told this evidence would never reach this courtroom.”
The judge looked at him.
“By whom?”
The man didn’t answer immediately.
His eyes moved toward the wealthy fathers.
That was enough.
The courtroom understood.
This wasn’t only about five teenagers.
It was about the adults who protected them.
The witness explained he had information.
But he refused to reveal everything until the judge reviewed the evidence.
The judge opened the folder.
I watched Cameron.
He was still scared.
But he was standing straighter.
That mattered.
Then the judge looked at the evidence.
His face tightened.
“Bring the surveillance footage.”
The room froze.
The wealthy fathers immediately reacted.
