Charles wanted access to Carter Development.
Vanessa wanted ownership of whatever access could buy her.

Control company assets through emergency governance documents.
Hide transfers behind a fund carrying Maya's name.
She had intended to make theft look like motherhood.
The last missing link was proof she knew the forged amendment was false when she used it.
Melissa said Vanessa created it.
Vanessa denied that.
Then Ethan remembered something.
The night he saw Nathan give Vanessa Olivia's burgundy case, Vanessa had been on the phone.
