Ryan blamed William for teaching him that Claire would always surrender.
William blamed Ryan for manipulating him.
Claire listened as both men rewrote history in real time.
Ryan said William promised the lake house for years.
William said he only meant Ryan could visit.
Ryan said William complained that Claire had too much.
William said those were private frustrations.
Neither acknowledged Claire as a person whose permission mattered.
Maya quietly told Claire the officers now had enough to document attempted unlawful entry and possible fraud.
The final legal decision would require investigators and prosecutors.
Claire did not ask for Ryan to be arrested on the porch.
She asked only that he be formally ordered to leave.
The lead officer gave the instruction.
Ryan stared at Claire.
“You’re choosing strangers over family.”
Claire replied:
“No. I’m choosing witnesses over secrecy.”
William asked whether he could remain.
Claire looked at the guest key still hanging from his ring.
“No.”
His face fell.
“You’re throwing me out too?”
“I am revoking access until the investigation is finished.”
“I’m your father.”
“And I’m the owner you tried to bypass.”
