The forged documents connecting Trevor to Rebecca’s inheritance shared one notary stamp.
The notary was his mother, Cynthia Hayes.
Cynthia had always treated Rebecca coldly.
She criticized her parenting, clothing, and relationship with Richard.
She often defended Trevor.
“He has a temper because he cares deeply,” she once said.
Police searched Cynthia’s home.
They found copies of Rebecca’s signature, passport, medical records, and trust documents.
Cynthia admitted notarizing forms without Rebecca present.
She claimed Trevor told her Rebecca was too emotionally unstable to manage money.
Detective Ortiz showed her photographs of Rebecca’s injuries.
Cynthia looked away.
“Did you know he hit her?”
“I knew they argued.”
“Did you know about Danielle?”

“You protected your son,” Rebecca said during a court-supervised meeting.
Cynthia began crying.
“I thought marriage would calm him.”
“You gave him more women to hurt.”
Cynthia offered evidence in exchange for reduced charges.
She revealed where Trevor buried Marcus Reed’s body.
Police found Marcus near an abandoned quarry.
His family finally learned the truth.
